Our dentists are supported by a wonderful, caring team of dental professionals who take your interests to heart and help us provide you with quality care. Meet our office manager who keeps our day running smoothly and efficiently, our hygienist who helps care for your teeth and gums, four experienced assistants who aid our doctors during procedures, and two able treatment coordinators who schedule efficiently and maximize your insurance benefits.

Office Manager

Maria Henderson

Maria Henderson is our office manager and she uses her considerable communication skills in her role as liaison between dentist, team, and patient. Maria oversees the responsibilities and duties of all office personnel so the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Maria is our Colonel-Know-It-All who has served patients at Burlington Dental Care with pride since the practice opened in 2006. The second you call or walk into the office, Maria will greet you with a smile and make you feel right at home in both English and Spanish. Maria was born in Mexico and raised in El Paso, Texas. Prior to entering the healthcare profession, Maria was employed by the North Carolina Detention System. Fortunately, for all of us at Burlington Dental, Maria brought all her considerable communication skills to the dental world some six years ago. Maria is married and she and her husband have three boys. Maria is always seeking ways to make people smile, affordably. Outside the office, Maria enjoys shopping, movies (scary and suspenseful), time with her family, and the Dallas Cowboys. To get on her good side, give Maria a Starbuck's coffee.

Treatment Coordinators

Rosa Castillo

Rosa Castillo was born in Nicaragua, in Central America and was raised in Miami, Florida. Rosa comes to the dental profession after a career in customer service. Rosa enjoys working with people, and it shows when she answers the telephone or greets you in either English or Spanish when you visit the office. Rosa is married and she and her husband have two sons and one daughter. As if Rosa does not have enough excitement at work, she relaxes by watching boxing, Amazing Race and Survivor, and scary action movies. Rosa loves all kinds of seafood.

Elizabeth Raczkowski

Elizabeth Raczkowski is Dr. Marica L. Rementer's daughter and she was born in New York and raised in Durham. Liz graduated from Jordan HS and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Liz enjoys baseball very much as well as reading and movies. Liz has a quick smile and a joyful personality.

Margaret Raczkowski

Margaret Raczkowski is also Dr. Rementer's daughter and is Durham born. Margaret graduated from Riverside High School and from the University of Carolina where sh majored in biology. Margaret loves to dance, basketball, and baseball. Margaret has a soothing way with nervous patients and a bright smile for all.

Dental Assistants

Kathy Lail

Kathy Lail is a native of Burlington, right here in Alamance County. Kathy received her assisting degree from Alamance Community College and has additional certifications in radiology, office emergency, first aid responder, CPR, OSHA, and Home Health Care. Kathy has forgotten more dental knowledge than most assistants learn. Outside the office, you can find Kathy creating scenes in pencil and with oil paint. Her favorite sports team is “Dem Heels.” Her favorite movie is Twister – Kathy's secret passion is to be a storm chaser. Kathy's favorite food is Mexican (but she also likes crab legs, lobster and clams) and she loves to watch the Cooking Network.

Tonya Austin

Tonya Austin is a native of Greensboro who received her introduction to dental assisting while serving our country in the Army, stationed in Baumholder, Germany. Tonya enjoys the one-on-one relationships with patients that are unique to the dental profession. Tonya works especially well with our anxious patients. Outside the office, Tony loves to travel and, as a result, embraces all food cultures, as long as there is some pasta somewhere. Her favorite sports team is Duke, and Tonya also enjoys watching documentaries and home improvement shows.

Jennifer Galbraith

Jennifer Galbraith grew up on Camp Lejuene in Onslow County. Jennifer received her dental assisting degree from Alamance Community College and has worked with us since her graduation. Jennifer always wanted to work in a profession that enabled her to help people, and she gets to do a lot of that here at Burlington Dental Care. Jennifer enjoys her family, dancing, and going to the gym. Not surprising, her favorite movie is Dirty Dancing and her favorite show is “America's Best Dance Crew.” Jennifer will eat any type of food as long as it is chicken.

Cindy Keck

Cindy Keck is your dental health coach. Aside from possessing cracker-jack technical skills, Cindy is expert at identifying patient concerns and educating patients on their treatment options. Cindy has two advanced degrees, one in dental assisting and the other in dental hygiene, from the University of North Carolina.
